My apologies for not having written more sooner. In fact, I believe my last post was in October or November and here it is February. Life caught up with me but today I have some exciting news…

Angelina Jolie turns 34 today and has made number one on the Forbes Celebrity 100 list which is a list of ultra-famous celebs. In honor of her birthday and the incredible charity work she has done she gets this weeks Celebrity Charity Profile on Examiner.com.

Good evening dear readers,

I hope your night is going as well as mine seems to be. I was welcomed by my Channel Manager, Justin, at Examiner.com in an email that was wonderful and encouraging. I hope I can live up to the expectations as the Celebrity Charity Examiner. With the impeccable communication it should be a breeze.

Since I am the Celebrity Charity Examiner for Examiner.com I have decided to do Celebrity charity profiles, events and much more. The first in the series of profiles is one on Ellen Degeneres. I am a big fan of her humor, wit and love for people, animals and peace so it was only fitting that my first profile be on this wonderful person with such a large charitable heart.

A great charity event that is going on right now is one that is being hosted by one of the local radio stations in my area. 97.9x Rocks has autographed rock star items listed in an auction that will benefit the Easter, PA chapter of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Good morning to everyone. I hope your day has started out on a fabulous note with the sun shining and the world looking peaceful. If it is raining in your neck of the woods, I still hope your day is fabulous and you might want to consider dancing in the rain!

Yesterday started off wonderfully with the launch of this website and I have to say that you, my friends, are wonderful for the support and encouragement you sent my way.

Examiner.com contacted me yesterday while the this website was being launched. I am now the Celebrity Charity Examiner and will be providing you with information about events, profiles and interesting information about celebrities and the charities they support.
